On February 6, the actives participated in the 2nd annual Jog for Jill 5K to benefit lung cancer research. As a team, the chapter raised $1,305, the most of any fraternity and the fifth most of all participating groups. We are proud to help in this cause.
Jog for Jill was created in honor of Jill Costello, a UC Berkeley Kappa Kappa Gamma and coxswain for the national championship Cal Women Crew. Jill was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer (the most advanced stage) in June 2009.
