In late October the Graduate Board hosted it’s semi-annual New Member Dinner for the fall 2013 pledge class. The dinner provides an opportunity for the current pledges to meet a number of local alumni and learn a bit more about the fraternity’s past, while the graduates are able to get a peek into the current chapter membership and reminisce on their treasured time at Cal.
The private dining room was packed thanks in part to the strong rush efforts from the actives in recruiting a 16-man pledge class, all of whom were in attendance. The meal and service was excellent and an enjoyable evening was had by all. The feedback from the graduates in attendance was very positive and the hope is that the chapter will be well served once the group fully initiates.
