| A Letter to Parents |
|
March 15, 2008 Dear Parents, Our main goals are to maintain our Chapter House as the highest living standard amongst fraternities, continue to make capital improvements to the Chapter House, sustain an active and informative alumni/parent relations program, and grow our scholarship fund aimed to aid the current undergraduates (see scholarship info on reverse side). During the last year we made some significant headway in addressing some necessary improvements to the house as well as boost our scholarship endowment. We also put out three newsletters, updated our website, and hosted a Mom’s Day in the spring and Dad’s Day in the fall. The cost of continuing this quality alumni/parent programming and being able to maintain our facilities as we would like is approximately $25,000 annually. Make no mistake, your annual contribution is what allows us to maintain this excellence. To help offset these costs we have begun an Annual Fund program. These donations will directly affect your son and help create a lasting impression for the rest of his life. We cannot accomplish these goals without your support. Your contribution of $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50 or anything you feel is within your means will keep our alumni/parent network strong, allow us to maintain our facilities and award more scholarships to deserving members. Thanks in advance, and please remember, your support is incredibly meaningful and greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Taylor Smith, Delta Xi ’04
