| A Letter to all Graduate Brothers |

March 15, 2008 Dear Brothers, The Annual Fund Committee is dedicated to improving those areas that we know are the backbone to a strong and consistent Chapter. One is Graduate support. Your interest and contributions emphasize to the Undergrads and Grads alike that Delta Xi is “Not for College Days Alone”. It is our belief, and one we hope you share, that by continuing to financially support the Chapter you are expressing the value of “Fiji Life” and the friendships that have lasted a lifetime. We hope your example will encourage more to get involved and set the standard for our future Graduate Brothers. It is the Graduate Board’s belief that if Brothers contribute they will be more interested in and involved with the Chapter. Thus, the Chapter will have the needed backbone and Graduate involvement for continued strength and vitality. Our goal for 2008 is to increase the number of Graduate Brothers who contribute and express their support of the Chapter, thus establishing the tradition for the undergraduates as they move on. Last year we had 56 brothers contribute from our total Active Alumni base of 694. This year we would like to see that grow to 120+; with our ultimate goal in excess of 200. Be assured, your support helps fund our database maintenance, the alumni directory on our website (www.calfiji2.org), the e-mail directory, our newsletters, the Pig Dinner and other Alumni events. In addition, in 2007 we distributed eight scholarships totaling $11,000, and with your support we look forward to distributing even more in ‘08. 2007 was host to some great events at the house from Alumni tailgates to the Pig Dinner and we are looking forward to a Spring event as well. Make no mistake, Delta Xi currently boasts the premiere fraternal experience on the Cal campus. We continually receive great feedback from Cal Undergraduates, other fraternities, Cal Administrators, etc. as to how they look at FIJI.
